Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an application of pomegranate flower polyphenol in preparation of medicines for relaxing vascular smooth muscle. A lot of experiment researches prove that the pomegranate flower polyphenol (PFP) has a concentration-dependence relaxant effect on thoracic aorta rings of isolated rats. The relaxation effect on the blood vessel with intact endothelium is not quite different from that on an endothelium-denuded blood vessel. Therefore, vasodilatation caused by the pomegranate flower polyphenol (PFP) directly acts on the vascular smooth muscle to come into play.
