Flexible piece, magnetic head and folding plate combination and magnetic disk drive

The invention discloses a flexible piece. The flexible piece comprises a substrate layer, a dielectric layer and a conductive layer, wherein the dielectric layer is formed on the substrate layer; the conductive layer is formed on the dielectric layer and comprises a plurality of conductive circuits and a plurality of connection contacts; the connection contacts are arrayed along the first direction and are connected with a printed circuit board; each connection contact comprises a first portion and a second portion; the substrate layer is provided with a first window; the dielectric layer is provided with a second window which corresponds to the first window; and connection contacts are exposed via the second window. The flexible piece is characterized in that the substrate layer comprises a plurality of first projections which extend along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction from at least one side wall edge of the first window; each first projection covers the first portion of the corresponding connection contact; and at least one notch or hole is formed in the second portion of each connection contact. The flexible piece can be connected with a PCB (printed circuit board) by a solder jetting method or a hot stick method, so that the manufacturing cost is reduced. The invention also discloses a magnetic head and folding plate combination with the flexible piece and a magnetic disk drive with the flexible piece.
