The axillary crutch type walking stick can serve as an axillary crutch or a walking stick according to needs, and the axillary crutch type walking stick serves as the walking stick through adjusting the extending length of each of the first telescopic pipe and second telescopic pipe relative to the outside of the walking stick pipe to enable the overall height of the axillary crutch type walking stick to locate at the lowest state; when serving as the axillary crutch, the extending length of each of the first telescopic pipe and second telescopic pipe relative to the outside of the walking stick pipe is adjusted to enable the overall height of the axillary crutch type walking stick to adapt to the height of a patient, and the angle between the armpit support part and the hand-held part can be adjusted through the adjusting component.
