An identification medium is characterized in that an optical functional layer (200) causing a color shift, a partially formed release layer (105), a printing layer (106), and an adhesive layer (107) are laminated from a side where observation is made, and Xa> Xb >Xc or Xb >Xa > Xc, where Xa indicates the bonding strength between the adhesive layer (107) and an object to which the identification medium is attached, Xb indicates the bonding strength between the adhesive layer (107) and the printing layer (106), and Xc indicates the bonding strength between the optical functional layer (200) and the printing layer (206) at the position of the release layer (105).
