Method and system for realizing cross-browser voice warning

The invention discloses a method and a system for realizing cross-browser voice warning. The method comprises the steps of dividing an acquired current warning text message into at least two warning text metamessages with order identifiers according to at least one word segmentation strategy at a server side, and sending to a browser; inquiring a warning voice meta database according to the received current warning text metamessage at a browser side, so as to obtain warning voice meta data corresponding to the current warning text metamessage, and playing the warning voice meta data sequentially according to the order identifiers. According to the method, when the warning is given out, the acquired current warning text message is divided into at least two warning text metamessages according to the word segmentation strategy, and the warning voice meta data corresponding to the warning text metamessages is acquired through the warning voice meta database cached in a web browser side and is played sequentially, so that the voice warning message is played. The network bandwidth resource consumption can be reduced through adoption of the method and system.
