Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a displayer and a method for controlling a converter. The displayer comprises a display module and a converter electrically connected to the display module and used for converting input voltage to output voltage for the display module. The converter comprises a switch unit, a current arithmetic unit and a processing unit, wherein the current arithmetic unit is electrically connected to the switch unit and used for performing arithmetic treatment on operation current signals generated in the switch unit and obtaining output current signals corresponding to the output current of the converter; the processing unit is electrically connected to the current arithmetic unit and a driving unit and used for comparing the output current signals and a threshold value and correspondingly outputting frequency regulation signals and impedance regulation signals; the driving unit drives the switch unit according to the frequency regulation signals and the impedance regulation signals.
