Hot plug system and method thereof

The invention discloses a hot plug system and a method thereof. The hot plug method comprises the following steps: before pulling out a pluggable device, transmitting request information to a host machine end through the pluggable device, so that the host machine end selectively to store equipment state information; when the host machine end stores the equipment state information, firstly storing the equipment state information and then switching off a power supply of the pluggable device; when the host machine end does not store the equipment state information, directly switching off the power supply of the pluggable device, performing restoration or initialization according to the state information after the pluggable device is re-inserted into the host machine end. The host plug method is used for achieving the technical effect of improving the restoration of hot plug.
