The elevator efficiency enhancement system comprises cameras, infrared devices, a processor, a time control system and an elevator control system; the cameras are arranged on elevator outer doors respectively; the infrared devices are arranged on the elevator outer doors respectively; every camera is provided with a facial recognition system which is used for performing recognition on humanoid creatures; every infrared device is provided with an infrared distance measurement sensor which is used for measuring the distance with the corresponding humanoid creature; the cameras are arranged on elevator outer doors respectively, every facial recognition system is arranged in the corresponding camera, and accordingly the face capture can be performed so as to determine whether objects which are located in front of the elevator doors are the humanoid creatures or other obstacles. According to the elevator efficiency enhancement system, the problem of the operation efficiency of elevator taking in the peak period and the idle period is creatively solved, the efficient operation is achieved, the waiting time is reduced, the effective operation is increased, and the energy conservation and emission reduction effect is achieved.
