The invention provides an information processor that prevents the selection of the undesired icon due to the sizes, shapes and positional relation of plural icons displayed on a display screen as compared to the conventional one. The information processor (1) includes a display (3) for displaying a plurality of item buttons (31) in a display region, the item buttons each having center coordinates and outlines, and determines coordinates of an indicated position in the display area based on an input signal of a touch panel (4). The center coordinates of each of the plurality of item buttons (31) is calibrated to coordinates between the center coordinates and the outlines of each of the item buttons to obtain the calibrated center coordinates, and one of the item buttons (31) is employed in a selected state such that the calibrated center coordinates of the determined one is closest to the coordinates of the indicated position.
