Vertical machining center and adjustment method thereof

The invention relates to a vertical machining center. The vertical machining center comprises a vertical column and a base, wherein the base is provided with a slide base and a workbench. The vertical machining center is characterized in that the vertical column is arranged behind the base and is fixedly connected with the base through bolts; the bottom surface of the vertical column and the bottom surface of the base are on a same basic mounting surface. The invention also provides a mounting adjustment method which comprises the steps 1, the base is mounted and aligned; 2, the vertical column is rough located; 3, the perpendicularity of the vertical column in a plane YZ is aligned; 4, the perpendicularity of the vertical column in a plane XY is aligned; 5, each part of the vertical column is fixed. According to the vertical machining center and the adjustment method thereof, the assembly difficulty and the labor intensity are reduced effectively, the transportation expenses and the installation and debugging expenses are saved, and the machine precision maintenance and repair are facilitated.
