The invention discloses an auxiliary pedal assembling device and method. The auxiliary pedal assembling device comprises a workbench (1) and a supporting positioning device which is arranged on the workbench and supports a pedal support (2). A guiding rod shell (43) of a return spring assembly (4) is installed on one side of the pedal support (2). A pushing device (9) driving a pedal arm (3) to move in the direction collinear with the central line of the pedal support (2) is arranged on the workbench (1). A limiting mechanism d (96) corresponding to the guiding rod shell (43) to limit a guiding rod (42) is arranged on the pushing device (9). The guiding rod (42) is assembled inside the guiding rod (42) along with movement of the pushing device (9). According to the auxiliary pedal assembling device and method, assembling of a pedal assembly is facilitated, installation positioning is accurate, the assembling consistency is ensured, and meanwhile the working efficiency is improved.
