The invention relates to a special slow controlled release fertilizer composition for summer maize as well as a preparation method and an application of composition. The special slow controlled release fertilizer composition is prepared from a composition I, a composition II and a composition III in a mass ratio of 1: 5: 4, wherein the composition I is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 30% of a calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, 40% of potassium sulphate, 15% of zinc sulfate heptahydrate, 10% of ferrous sulfate heptahydrate and 50% of borax decahydrate; the composition II is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 47.5% of urea, 17.5% of monoammonium phosphate, 20% of potassium chloride, 10% of sulfur and 5% of a mixture of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and paraffin; the composition III is prepared from urea and formaldehyde in a mass ratio of 6: 1. The invention further relates to a preparation method of the special slow controlled release fertilizer composition as well as the application of the fertilizer for planting summer maize. The special slow controlled release fertilizer composition for summer maize provided by the invention has the characteristics of long controlled release time, high efficiency, environment-friendliness, safety and economical benefit.
