Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a novel side-fixing type tool shank. The tool shank comprises a side-fixing type tool shank body and a compression screw. Any one of a steel ball, a straight flat steel ball and a T-shaped wedge block is inlaid in the front end of the compression screw. Any structure of the steel ball, the straight flat steel ball and the detachable T-shaped wedge block is additionally arranged at the front end of the compression screw. In this way, a standard flat B-type tool bar and an obliquely flat E-type tool bar can be assembled on the side-fixing type tool shank at the same time. The whole design is ingenious, the structure is simple, and the compression effect is good. The maximum utilization of resources is achieved, material waste and the purchase cost are lowered, and the management cost of materials is reduced.
