Specifically, the golf club head is provided with a hitting face forming a bag, wherein the bag contains a second material. The second material is low in density, so as to improve the performance of the golf club head. The general characteristic time slope of the multi-material face can be greater than about 5 and less than about 50, wherein the characteristic time slope is measured based on different data points tested and collected according to the characteristic time (CT) of United States Golf Association (USGA).
