Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a modular UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) based emergency shutdown circuit and a modular UPS. The emergency shutdown circuit comprises at least one first emergency shutdown sub-circuit which is arranged in one of necessary and non-inserting-drawing first functional modules arranged at the modular UPS, and at least one second emergency shutdown sub-circuit which is treated as a backup emergency shutdown sub-circuit of the first emergency shutdown sub-circuit. According to the scheme, at least two emergency shutdown sub-circuits are arranged in the modular UPS, so that the modular UPS can remain the emergency shutdown function when any one of the emergency shutdown sub-circuits of the modular UPS is failed, and as a result, the problem of setting of the emergency circuit in the modular UPS can be solved well.
