COAXIAL CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

A coaxial connector according to the present invention includes a mold provided therein with a pin hole into which an external terminal inserted; a switching unit installed in the mold to control the electrical connection by the external terminal inserted into the pin hole; and an external cell coupled with an outer portion of the mold. The switching unit includes a movable terminal installed in the mold and elastically deformed in a vertical direction according to the connection state of the external terminal; a fixed terminal installed in opposition to the movable terminal in the mold and connected with the movable terminal according to the connection state between the external terminal and the movable terminal; and a housing manufactured through the insert-molding scheme so that outer portions of the movable terminal and the fixed terminal are gripped and coupled.
