The gas water heater comprises a shell, a condenser, a primary heat exchanger and a water tank, wherein the condenser is arranged in the shell and is provided with a cold water inlet; the primary heat exchanger is connected with the condenser and is provided with a hot water outlet; the water tank is connected with the condenser so as to collect condensate water generated by the condenser; the water tank is connected with the hot water outlet so as to convey the collected condensate water to the hot water outlet. According to the gas water heater disclosed by the invention, the water tank which is connected with the condenser and the hot water outlet is arranged, and the condensate water generated by the condenser can fall into the water tank and is discharged through the hot water outlet, so that a special water pipe for discharging the condensate water is not needed to be arranged, installation of the gas water heater is convenient, and the aesthetic property of the gas water heater is ensured.
