The invention provides a fan pulled by a cord to rotate. The fan can rotate in a hand-pulling manner under the condition of no power supply, and consists of fan blades, a turning accelerating box, a driving rod, a driving rod sleeve, the stay cord and a flywheel, wherein the fan blades are connected with a fan blade gear through a fan blade shaft; the driving rod sleeve sleeves the driving rod; the upper end of the driving rod sleeve is connected with a driving gear; the lower end of the driving rod sleeve is connected with the flywheel; the stay cord penetrates into the driving rod sleeve to be tied on the driving rod; the other end of the stay cord is tied on a pull handle; the driving gear in the turning accelerating box is engaged with two one-way gears opposite in direction; the two one-way gears comprise a one-way gear I and a one-way gear II; a driven gear I of the one-way gear I is engaged with the fan blade gear; a driven gear II of the one-way gear II is engaged with a turning gear; the turning gear is engaged with the fan blade gear; and the fan blade gear is smaller than other gears.
