Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a use of maltol in preparation of drugs and health-care products having a liver injury protective effect, and belongs to the field of medicine. The prepared drugs and health-care products with maltol as a main active substance can prevent and treat various liver injuries caused by immunity or chemical factors. Through establishment of an immunity or chemical liver injury animal model, maltol is verified to be capable of significantly decreasing ALT and AST in serum, also be capable of significantly increasing the liver SOD activity and decreasing the MDA content, thereby playing the protective effect on the liver. The maltol provides a new source of the drugs and health-care products for prevention and treatment of the liver injuries.
