Zusammenfassung:	A battery state detection apparatus is provided with a case (8), and a cover section (24). In the case (8), a substrate housing space (23) for housing a circuit board is formed. The case (8) has an opening formed by opening one side of the substrate housing space (23). The cover section (24) covers the opening of the case (8). A tapered surface (77) is formed in the cover section (24). A contact section (78) to be in contact with the tapered surface (77) is formed in the case (8). In a state in which the tapered surface (77) and the contact section (78) are brought into contact with each other, the case (8) and the cover section (24) are ultrasonic-welded to each other.
