The invention discloses a frequency converter with dust removal and water prevention functions. The frequency converter comprises a shell, wherein the shell is connected with a square tubular apron board below a bottom plate; an upper partition, a lower partition, an upper board baffle, a lower board baffle and a ring-shaped dust removal filter screen are arranged in the apron board; the upper board baffle and the lower board baffle are arranged in a staggered manner. According to the frequency converter with the dust removal and water prevention functions, disclosed by the invention, the upper board baffle and the lower board baffle are arranged in a staggered manner in the square tubular apron board at the lower part of the frequency converter shell so as to enable airflow to flow round about in a U-shaped manner between the upper and lower board baffles and the board baffles intercept vapor water carried by the airflow in the process of being collided with the airflow to realize air-water separation so as to prevent water vapor from entering the frequency converter shell to damage electrical apparatus elements; moreover, by arranging the ring-shaped dust removal filter screen in the board baffle on the innermost layer, dust can be prevented from entering the frequency converter shell to damage the electrical apparatus elements; the frequency converter has the dust removal and water prevention functions, so that the frequency converter has a low fault rate and a long service life.
