The online monitoring system comprises an acquisition and storage module, a database, an application module, a display module and an external interface, wherein the acquisition and storage module is used for acquiring various kinds of data information from a power scheduling data network, and storing the corresponding data information into the database; the application module is used for calling the related data information from the database, and processing the related data information, thereby forming application data information; the display module is used for displaying the application data information in multiple manners; the external interface is used for connecting the application module and an EMS module, thereby forwarding the application data information to the EMS system. According to the online monitoring system, the secondary equipment of the power system can be monitored on line, and is monitored and analyzed in multiple manners, and an alarm is given in multiple manners in case of abnormity, so that the using safety of the secondary equipment is improved.
