The invention discloses a novel water and fire blocking cable which includes a core wire, a core wire insulating layer, a cable core insulating layer, a cable core tie, a colored tape layer and a sheath, wherein the sheath wraps the colored tape layer; the colored tape layer wraps the cable core tie; the cable core tie wraps the cable core insulating layer; the cable core insulating layer wraps the core wire insulating layer; the core wire is arranged inside the core wire insulating layer. The novel water and fire blocking cable provided by the invention is good in fire resistance, resistant to high temperature, low in cost and high in safety.
