The water-absorption sludge balls are carried to deserted land by a tractor and applied while the deserted land is furrowed, or the water-absorption sludge balls are applied to furrows together with grass seeds and covered by backfilled sandy soil. By adopting the water-absorption sludge balls, the problem that agricultural production land and deserted land are droughty and are lacking in water and fertilizers can be solved, the problem that the sludge is difficult to treat and digest can be also solved, and the survival rate of plants can be increased.
