The invention discloses water-based automobile finish as well as preparation and usage methods thereof. The finish comprises components in percentage by weight as follows: 50-70% of water-based resin, 25-50% of a pigment, 1-3% of an aid, 1-3% of a cosolvent and 1-10% of deionized water, wherein the water-based resin comprises components as follows: water-based polyurethane resin, water-based acrylic resin, water-based amino resin and an aliphatic isocyanate curing agent; the water-based polyurethane resin is polyester type polyurethane or aliphatic polyurethane; the water-based acrylic resin is hydroxyl-containing acrylic resin; the aid comprises one or more of a defoaming agent, a dispersing agent, a wetting agent, a leveling agent, a dryer and an amine neutralizer. According to the water-based automobile finish as well as the preparation and usage methods thereof, the finish can substitute for traditional automobile primer and intermediate coats, automobile coating steps are reduced, and operations are convenient and quick; the VOC content in the finish is extremely low, and the construction environment is friendlier.
