Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method producing a safety element used on value files, checks or similar objects. The method comprises producing a strip (1) having a plurality of first componenets for production of a plurality of sfaety elements, conveying the strip (1) along a path, and placing a plurality of second components of the sfaety element to the strip (1)on the tail end of the path.The strip can transversely extends differnet from longitudinal and axis lines of the strip on the path (S) based on an adjustable extending roller (4), so a registration position between the first and second components can be adjusted; and the extending roller is provided with a double-axis curved external surface.
