Zusammenfassung:An injection valve has a nozzle needle which, in a closed position, stops a dosing of fluid and otherwise releases the dosing of fluid. It also has a solid-state actuator which is designed to act on the nozzle needle and influence the position thereof. To operate the injection valve, values (KG_W) of a characteristic for a load state of the solid-state actuator are detected for an injection process using a predetermined sampling rate. Furthermore, a start reference time (t_BEG) and an end reference time (t_END) are determined correlating in chronological terms to an operating phase in which the solid-state actuator is discharged to a predetermined reference state by absorbing the energy in a discharging resistor. Depending on a value (KG_W) of the characteristic, which was detected correlating to an end of the operating phase, and a predetermined reference value (REF_W) a correction reference value (KOR_BW) is determined. A correction value pattern (KOR_VERL) is determined depending on the end reference time (t_END), the start reference time (t_BEG) and the correction reference value (KOR_BW). The detected values (KG_W) of the characteristic for the load state are determined depending on the correction value pattern (KOR_VERL).
