Zusammenfassung:The cooling system of an engine system has an engine cooling water channel in an internal combustion engine and a turbine cooling water channel in a turbocharger. A switcher selectively switches to either one of a first operation mode which allows the cooling water of the cooling system to flow in the engine cooling water channel and the turbine cooling water channel, and a second operation mode which allows the cooling water of the cooling system to flow in only the engine cooling water channel among the engine cooling water channel and the turbine cooling water channel. If the switcher is in the first operation mode (S101: NO, S102: NO), and a basic flow rate Q0 calculated on the basis of an engine operation state (S105) is greater in comparison to an actual flow rate Q2 detected by a flow rate sensor (S106) by an assessment quantity (S107: YES), then the switcher switches to the second operation mode (S108).
