The invention discloses a method for quickly blocking a blast hole, and the method comprises the following steps: (1) after the blast hole is filled with an explosive material and a detonating tube is educed, a hole plug which is made of a fibrous material and slightly smaller than the blast hole in diameter is stuffed into the orifice of the blast hole, so that the detonating tube is close to the blast hole wall; 2) the hole plug is injected with water so that the hole plug is inflated, the orifice of the blast hole is totally plugged, and the detonating tube is tightly close to the blast hole wall. The method is characterized in that the blast hole is plugged with the hole plug made of the fibrous material, thus the method is simply, conveniently and quickly operated and excellent in security, besides the effect of plugging the blast hole is reliable and the detonating tube cannot be damaged.
