The control system of the rotary drilling rig can achieve real-time judgment and finish predetermined control, an operator does not need to keep a close watch on the operation condition of the drilling rig all the time, and therefore work intensity of the operator is relieved effectively; the precision is high, a magnetic railing ruler and the magneto-dependent sensor are used for carrying out main measurement, errors possibly caused by the hydraulic pressure gage can be avoided to the maximum extent, and it is ensured that accuracy of automatic control is high; the cost is low, and not only the hardware cost but also the labor cost or even time cost can be greatly lowered compared with the prior art; operation is easy, and the system can run only through setting parameters on the touch screen by the operator.
