The invention provides a steel plate hoisting device. The steel plate hoisting device comprises two lifting beams as well as a pressing mechanism, an absorbing mechanism and a hoisting mechanism which are arranged on the two lifting beams, wherein the lifting beams are horizontal and arranged in parallel; the pressing mechanism comprises a first cross beam and two pressing units, the first cross beam is fixedly arranged on the lifting beams, the two pressing units are symmetrically arranged on the first beam, each pressing unit comprises a first hydraulic cylinder, a second hydraulic cylinder, a base, a supporting plate and a pressing plate; the absorbing mechanism comprises a second cross beam and multiple sucking units, the second cross beam is fixed on the lifting beams, each sucking unit comprises a cylinder and a magnetic sucking disc, the magnetic sucking disc is horizontally arranged just below the second cross beam, the cylinder is arranged on the second cross beam, and a cylinder piston rod penetrates through the second cross beam and then is connected with the magnetic sucking disc; and the hoisting mechanism comprises a third cross beam, and the third cross beam is fixed on the hoisting beams.
