Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a method for cleaning a carbonyl compound liquid storage tank, and relates to a method for removing liquid including carbonyl metal (nickel carbonyl and iron carbonyl) in the carbonyl compound liquid storage tank. The method is characterized by including the following cleaning steps of: adding iodine into the liquid storage tank to react with the carbonyl compounds, and after generating iodine compounds and carbon monoxide, blowing nitrogen to sweep the liquid storage tank. According to the method provided by the invention, the strong oxidizing property of iodine crystal particles is utilized to perform redox reaction with residual carbonyl metal in the nickel carbonyl liquid storage tank, then the nitrogen is used for sweeping by blowing to clean residual carbonyl compounds in the nickel carbonyl liquid storage tank, and thereby the carbonyl metal content is reduced to be less than 0.1ppb.
