The sugarcane planter comprises a rack, a fertilizer applicator above the rack, a gutter-plough arranged below the front portion of the rack, the mud dividing and sugarcane guide groove below the middle of the rack, a seed cutter and a plastic film laying machine below the rear portion of the rack, the seed cutter is arranged on the rack, a sugarcane discharge opening of the seed cutter is connected with an inlet of the mud dividing and sugarcane guide groove, a covering blade component is arranged at the lower portion of the position, between the plastic film laying machine and the mud dividing and sugarcane guide groove, of the rack, the gutter-plough and the mud dividing and sugarcane guide groove are independently arranged, and mud inlets are formed in the sides of a left plough plate and a right plough plate of the gutter-plough respectively. The mud dividing and sugarcane guide groove comprises a shell and a sugarcane flowing groove in the shell, the sugarcane flowing groove is separated by a mud blocking mechanism into two groove bodies with the front ends higher than the rear ends, and mud dividing plates are arranged on the lower portions of the corresponding groove bodies. The sugarcane planter has the advantages of being simple in structure, the cleaning and maintenance work of the gutter-plough and the sugarcane guide groove is easy and convenient, sugarcane seeds are discharged and arranged in order in the planting process, and later growth of sugarcanes is facilitated.
