Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for promoting the germination of quercus rubra seeds, belonging to plant breeding methods. The method comprises the following steps: (1) performing modulation pretreatment on seeds for later use; (2) performing chemical reagent stimulation; and (3) disinfecting the seeds, and then preserving the seeds in sand or directly sowing the seeds. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the seeds are treated by using chemical reagents at high temperature to ensure that diseases and insect damages of red oak seeds can be significantly reduced, the dormancy of the quercus rubra seeds can be broken, the seeds can be promoted to germinate 30-40 days in advance, the germination rate can be increased by 15-20%, a working procedure that the seeds can only germinate by virtue of necessary low-temperature treatment can be omitted, and the working efficiency can be increased by 30-50% compared with that when a conventional germination accelerating process is adopted; and moreover, the growth cycle of seedlings can be prolonged. |
