Method for realizing television remote control, remote controller and system

The invention discloses a method for realizing television remote control, a remote controller and a system. The method comprises the following steps: shooting an image of a television screen and a surrounding background; identifying the coordinate of the center of the television screen relative to the center of the image and the size of the television screen; calculating the offset of the center of the television screen relative to the center of the image; reckoning the relative offset of the center of the image relative to the center of the television screen; and drawing a cursor at a position where one frame of the image is of set offset from the center of the television screen through the remote controller, informing a set top box of the position of the cursor, and updating the cursor position of the television screen through the set top box, wherein the set offset is obtained by multiplying a component of the resolution of the television screen with a component of corresponding relative offset. Through adoption of the method, the remote controller and the system, the problems of inaccurate cursor positioning and drifting of the cursor direction can be solved.
