Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure relates to methods for forming a data center infrastructure management (DCIM) system. In one implementation the method may involve using a first portion of the DCIM system, including at least one DCIM application, as a cloud-based system. A second portion of the DCIM system may be used at a remote facility, the second portion making use of a hardware component. The second portion of the DCIM system may be used to obtain information from at least one device at the remote facility. A wide area network may be used to communicate the obtained information from the second portion to the first portion.
