Provided is an input device for a ride vehicle suited for an amusement ride that requires a safety device that fixes the body of a passenger. The present invention is a ride vehicle for an amusement ride which moves in accordance with a trajectory configuring a course, wherein the ride vehicle for an amusement ride is provided with: a safety device which is provided with a restraining member, wherein the restraining member, with respect to a seat on the ride vehicle, is configured to be able to move between a first position, in which a space in which a passenger can sit down upon a seat and stand up from the seat of the ride vehicle is secured, and a second position, which restrains movement of the body of the passenger who has sat down upon the seat; and an input device provided upon at least a portion of a first surface of the restraining member.
