The invention discloses a transition slide plate of a knitting spreading machine, which is fixed on a common knitting spreading machine. A vertically upward slide plate erection column (7) is fixed on each of left and right upper rack frames (10) of the common knitting spreading machine; the top end of each of the two slide plate erection columns (7) is hinged with a long-strip-shaped slide plate frame (8), and a hinging shaft is located on the front part of each slide plate frame (8); a notch is formed in the bottom surface of the free end of each slide plate frame (8); a short cylinder (1a) is fixed on each of left and right top frame walls (1); the notches in the bottom surfaces of the slide plate frames (8) are erected on the short cylinders (1a) and are used for positioning the slide plate frames (8); and the two slide plate frames (8) are symmetrical left and right by taking the central plane in the left-right direction of the common knitting spreading machine as the center, and are provided with low front parts and high back parts. Transition slide plates (3) are fixed on the top surfaces of the two slide plate frames (8). The front ends of the two slide plate frames (8) are connected with a front cylinder roller (5) and can rotate. By virtue of the transition slide plate of the knitting spreading machine, covering corners of a knitted fabric on front and back cloth spreading rolling wheels (4 and 2) of the common knitting spreading machine are reduced, the tension of cloth is reduced and the cutting quality is improved.
