The invention discloses an organic fertilizer for maize and a preparation method thereof. The organic fertilizer is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10-26 parts of human urine, 20-30 parts of longan shell, 20-40 parts of peanut shell, 10-20 parts of sweet potato starch, 50-70 parts of peat soil, 15-20 parts of silkworm feces, 15-30 parts of biological calcium powder, 15-30 parts of potassium nitrate and 6-20 parts of amino acid. The preparation method comprises the steps of respectively crushing the longan shell, the peanut shell, the sweet potato starch and the peat soil, then, adding the human urine, the silkworm feces, the biological calcium powder, potassium nitrate and the amino acid, mixing, then, adding water, of which the weight is 30% the total weight, stirring, then, pouring into a fermentation tank, fermenting for 72 hours at the temperature of 40-45 DEG C, then, taking out of the tank, then, drying in the air, baking, granulating and packaging, thereby producing the chemical fertilizer. By adopting the scheme, the organic fertilizer has the advantages that the organic fertilizer can be an environment-friendly and organic fertilizer, the production process is simple, the fertilizer effect is high, crops are drought-resistant and waterlogging-resistant, the nutrient absorption of the crops is promoted, soil is improved, and hardening is prevented.
