The invention discloses a special cloth spreading machine for foam cotton. The cloth spreading machine comprises a general cloth spreading machine, wherein a cloth storage groove (3a) is formed in the rear part of an upper machine frame (3); the arc radius of the upper surface of the cloth storage groove (3a) is greater than 500 mm; three engraved rolls (6) are hollow barrels and rotationally connected to the bottom of the cloth storage groove (3a); a set of centripetal grooves (6d) are uniformly formed in the outer cylindrical surface of each engraved roll; a set of idler rollers (4) are rotationally connected to the cloth storage groove (3a) in front of and behind the engraved rolls (6); three engraved roll toothed belt wheels (13) are fixed on the right end surfaces of the engraved rolls (6) respectively and positioned on the inner side of the right cloth storage groove (3a); a gearbox (8) and a motor (9) are integrally connected and fixed on the outer side of the right cloth storage groove (3a); an output shaft (8a) of the gearbox (8) penetrates out of the right cloth storage groove (3a) and is connected with a drive toothed belt wheel (18); the drive toothed belt wheel (18) and the engraved roll toothed belt wheels (13) on front and rear sides are sleeved by a toothed belt (17). According to the cloth spreading machine, foam cotton rolls with the diameters of more than 1,000 mm can be spread; the spreading force on cloth is relatively small, so that the cloth difficultly deforms.
