Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an animal model of a CA16 virus infected gerbil and an application thereof in evaluating vaccines. The method is implemented through injecting a CA16 virus into an infected gerbil in an intraperitoneal injection mode, so that the gerbil infected with the CA16 virus is obtained, wherein the injection amount per gerbil is 1.0*10-1.0*10 TCID50. The model disclosed by the invention greatly simulates the lesions of clinical patients infected with the CA16 virus occurring in the aspect of nervous systems such as tissues brain stems and spinal cords, but existing neonatal rat models do not have the function; and in combination with an existing EV71 virus infected gerbil model, the animal model disclosed by the invention can be used as an animal model for evaluating the protective effect of EV71/CA16 duplex vaccines. |
