Vacuum quenching device and method

The invention discloses a vacuum quenching device which comprises a base, wherein a quenching cylinder is arranged on the base; a quenching cavity is arranged in the quenching cylinder; a material inlet/outlet is formed at the top of the quenching cavity; a sealing door is arranged on the material inlet/outlet; the upper end of the quenching cavity is connected with a water tank for storing a quenching medium; a connecting pipe is arranged between the water tank and the quenching cavity and internally provided with a valve plate; the quenching cavity is connected with a vacuum pump set; the vacuum pump set is used for extracting air from the quenching cavity; the quenching cavity is internally provided with a material lifting device; the material lifting device is used for input and output of a material in the quenching cavity; and the quenching cavity is internally provided with a hot air pipe for drying the interior of the quenching cavity.The invention further provides a vacuum quenching method. With the adoption of the vacuum quenching device and the method, various quenching modes can be realized, equipment damage can be reduced, and the service life of equipment is prolonged.
