Method and system for selecting diversity reception merging mode

Provided are a method and system for selecting a diversity reception merging mode. The method comprises the steps that symbol data of receiver antennas are detected; according to the symbol data received by the receiver antennas, channel estimation results of receiver antenna signals are determined; according to the channel estimation results of the receiver antenna, peak-to-average ratio computing is carried out, and the peak-to-average ratio values of the receiver antennas are obtained; the peak-to-average ratio values of the receiver antennas are compared with a preset peak-to-average ratio threshold value; and according to the comparing results of peak-to-average ratio threshold values of the receiver antennas and the peak-to-average ratio threshold value, the diversity reception merging mode is selected. According to the technical scheme, the problem that received data change, an original diversity reception merging mode is not suitable, and accordingly received signal quality is lowered can be avoided, convenience is achieved, consumed time is short, and reliability is high.
