The invention, which relates to the communication power supply field, discloses a peak-load-shifting energy storage system of a communication power supply. According to the power grid load characteristic, a monitoring unit is used for carrying out automatic control management reasonably and scientifically on charging and discharging processes of a storage battery set; the energy stored by the storage battery set is released actively at the power using peak period of the power grid to satisfy the power demand of the communication network equipment, and when the needed power is insufficient, a rectifier of a direct-current power supply system provides power. At the commercial power consumption valley period, the rectifier of the direct-current power supply system not only is used for satisfying the power demand of the communication network equipment but also charges the storage battery set in the power-lack state, thereby realizing the peak-load-shifting power consumption effect, reducing the peak-valley load difference of the power grid, optimizing the resource configuration, and realizing energy conservation and emission reduction well.
