Photovoltaic module

A photovoltaic module comprises a solar cell panel, a back plate and a junction box. The solar cell panel and the back plate are arranged in an overlaying mode. One side of the back plate is provided with a protruding edge. The junction box is arranged on the surface, close to the solar cell panel, of the protruding edge. The junction box is electrically connected with the solar cell panel. According to the photovoltaic module, the junction box is arranged on the protruding edge of the back plate, and the smoothness of one face, close to a roof, of the back plate of the photovoltaic module is guaranteed. Therefore, the photovoltaic module can be directly fixed on the plane roof in a paving mode through an adhesive tape or adhesive agents and the like, and a packaging frame and a mounting support which are commonly used by a traditional photovoltaic module are removed. The mounting cost of the photovoltaic module is greatly lowered. The photovoltaic module is easy and quick to mount.
