A single-chip type capacitive touch screen comprises a transparent substrate and a shielding layer, wherein the inner surface of the shielding layer is connected with the transparent substrate, a cover bottom layer of which the optical density is larger than that of the shielding layer is formed on the outer surface of the shielding layer, the outer side edge of the shielding layer is spaced from the peripheral side edge of the transparent substrate, a shielding enhancement layer of which the optical density is larger than that of the shielding layer is arranged in a position close to the inner side edge of the shielding layer, the shielding enhancement layer is arranged around the inner side periphery of the shielding layer, one part of the shielding enhancement layer is positioned between the shielding layer and the transparent substrate, and the other part of the shielding enhancement layer extends out from the inner side edge of the shielding layer. The side edges cannot have side erosion phenomena. Besides, the light shielding effect of the shielding layer is great, and light leaking phenomena can be prevented from occurring on the inner side edge.
