The veneer decoration preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) completely preparing painting tools; (2) preparing paint liquids of a watermark picture; (3) blending pigments of the watermark picture; (4) drawing the watermark picture; (5) rubbing a pattern on a veneer; (6) drying the veneer; and (7) cleaning an aqueous medium. With the adoption of the veneer decoration preparation method based on the watermark picture technique, the small batch individualized production of products is realized; in addition, when a defect or local mutilation exists in textures, the veneer with the defect or local mutilation is utilized to carry out secondary decoration.
