The invention discloses a flanging machine for a metal barrel. The flanging machine comprises a first base (9), a second base (1), at least one flaring mechanism, a locating mechanism and a flanging mechanism, wherein the length direction of the first base is perpendicular to the length direction of the second base, the flaring mechanisms are located on the first base, and the locating mechanism and the flanging mechanism are located on the second base. The flaring mechanisms move in the length direction of the first base and extend into the metal barrel to flare the end opening of the metal barrel into a horn mouth; under the condition that the end opening is the horn mouth, the locating mechanism moves in the length direction of the second base to abut against the peripheral wall of the bent part of the horn mouth, the flanging mechanism moves in the length direction of the second base, a flanging wheel (6) of the flanging mechanism extends into the horn mouth, the flaring mechanisms can drive the metal barrel to rotate round the axis of the metal barrel, and the flanging wheel can move outwards in the radial direction of the horn mouth so that a metal wall between the metal barrel and the locating mechanism can be flanged outwards. The flanging machine for the metal barrel is easy to operate and high in flanging speed and saves time and labor.
