Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a preparation method for a silver catalyst alpha-alumina carrier for producing ethylene oxide through ethylene oxidation, wherein the surface of the carrier obtained through the method contains the cobalt compound. The present invention further relates to the alpha-alumina carrier prepared through the preparation method and the corresponding silver catalyst. With the application of the silver catalyst prepared from the carrier of the present invention in the ethylene oxide production through the ethylene oxidation, the good catalyst stability is provided.
