The method comprises the steps that a media information configuration file of an instant communication application is acquired, and the media information configuration file comprises identification of media information to be displayed and a display mode; the media information is acquired according to identification of the media information to be displayed; and the media information is displayed in the instant communication application by adopting the display mode. The media information of the instant communication application can be flexibly configured and displayed so that use rate and activeness of the media information are enhanced and intelligent performance of the instant communication application is enhanced. |
